Stava zitto e immobile, la regina astuta si fece raccontare la storia dell'armadio magico e da chi era composta la famiglia di Edmund.

La regina dapprima voleva eliminare il giovane ma sentita la sua storia decise di offrirgli un grosso piatto di lucumi della migliore qualità per conquistare la fiducia di Edmund.

Intanto il bambino rimaneva sempre più affascinato dai modi fini e garbati della principessa che gli chiese di tornare con le sue sorelle e suo fratello, gli promise inoltre che sarebbe diventato principe di Narnia solo se avesse condotto i suoi fratelli al suo regno.

Ancora affamato e sempre più entusiasmato dalla principessa Edmund chiese se poteva avere altri lucumi, ma la principessa poteva usare la sua magia una volta sola.

Once he found himself in front of the queen, Edmund didnt know what to answer to all of those questions.

He stayed still and in silence, the cunning queen listened to the story of the magic wardrobe and who where the other members of Edmund’s Family.

At first, the queen, wanted to eliminate the boy but after hearing the story she decided to give him a big plate of Lucumi and of the best quality so she could win his friendship.

While the boy remained more and more fascinated by the gentle caracter of the princess she asked him to come back next time with his sisters and his brother, she also promised that he will become prince of Narnia if he could bring all of them in Narnia.

Still fascinated and even more enthusiastic by the princess, Edmund asked if he could have more lucumis, but the princess could use her magic only once.

Lo convinse però ad andare nella sua reggia dove sarebbe stato poi preparato a diventare un vero principe; entusiasta voleva subito andare a casa della donna , ma doveva prima condurre la sua famiglia a Narnia.

She convinced him to come into her palace where he would be dressed like a real prince; thrilled, Edmund suddenly wanted to go to the womans house, but he first had to bring his family in Narnia.

La principessa allora lasciò Edmund in mezzo alla neve: mentre stava tornando a casa incontrò Lucy, ma non poté raccontarle nulla della regina così le disse una bugia.

So the princess left Edmund in the snow: while he was going back home he found Lucy, but he couldnt tell her nothing about the queen so he decided to lie.

Lucy gli raccontò la storia di una certa strega bianca, principessa di Narnia, che era molto cattiva, ma Edmund non credette alla storia; insieme continuarono la strada verso casa, quando ad un tratto si trovarono tra le pellicce morbide dell'armadio.

Lucy told him the story of the White Witch, Princess of Narnia, that was a very evil, but Edmund didnt belive the story; so together they continued towards home, when suddenly they found themselves between the fur coats of the closet.
