visto i pagliacci che so’ venuti a fare la festa
a scuola coi ragazzi del Marconi.
I ragazzi stavano
con i professori che si chiamano Claudio e Ilaria.
We saw the clowns that came here for the party at
school with the boys of the Marconi.
They stayed with the professors that were Claudio
and Ilaria.

I pagliacci
si chiamavano Carotina e Scarabocchio e facevano
le magie.
The clowns were names Carotina
and Scarabocchio and they did magic tricks.
Federico:
Facevano
fa’ le caramelle che chiamavano "carambrelle"
They made candy that they
called “kwamby”
Asia:
Qui sotto
ce so’ tutte le facce nostre. C'hai fatto le foto
tu mentre stavamo a ride'.
Under here there are all our faces. You made pictures
of us while we were laughing.
Isabella:
Stiamo
a ridere perché la bacchetta magica nera
lo sai che faceva? Ogni volta si rompeva. Invece
quella viola faceva la mucca che fa "muuuu". Anche
a te se' rotta la bacchetta!
We are laughing because the
black magic stick, you know what it was doing? It
was brakeing up every time. And the purple one was
making the sound of the cow that goes “muuuuu”.
The magic stick broke with you too!

Sto a ride’
perché me facevano ride i pagliacci che facevano
il gioco della racchetta.
Allora, ci
stava una stanga e poi una racchetta. Poi i pagliacci
facevano venire noi e facevamo fare i salti mortali…
il salto maiale, il salto morto male… ai pagliacci
e non si facevano male…
I’m laughing because the clowns
were funny while they played with the magic stick.
So, there was a stick and then a racket. And then
the clowns where making us do somersaults… the pigsault…
the-bad-dead-sault… and the clowns didn’t get hurt….
Giuliana:
Mi sono divertita tanto. Tutti ci stiamo
a ridere e a guardare. Mi piace questa scuola.
I had a lot of fun. We laughed
and looked. I like this school.
Augusto:
Carotina diceva: "1,2,3… mi hai rotto
il parafango" e vuole che salto. Federico deve fare
la magia da mago.
Carotina said: “1,2,3… you
broke my mudguard” and she wanted me to jump. Federico
has to make magic as a magician.
Bruno:
E' venuto il Preside e ha detto che siamo
bravi e che i ragazzi del Marconi vendono pure domani
e sempre a raccontarci le storie.
The Headmaster arrived and
told us that we are good children and that the boys
from the Marconi will come tomorrow too so they
can tell us more stories.
Gabriele:
Io mi ricordo
il soffio magico. Mangi una caramella e diventi
un mago. Ma Carotina e Scarabocchio chiamano la
caramella "carambrella" e quando dovevamo sedere
dicevano "assederatevi". Dicevano cosi’ perché
erano pagliacci che sapevano parlare bene però
"favano" ridere se parlavano male. Avviamo
dato un soffi magico e il libro che non era colorato
e’ diventato con tutti che ballavano e poi dabbiamo
(davamo) un altro soffio e diventa tutto colorato.
I remember the magic blow.
You eat a candy and you become a magician. But Carotina
and Scarabocchio call the candy “kwamby” and when
we had to sit they said “swit dwown”. They talked
like that because they were clowns that didn’t know
how to talk but they were funny if they talked like
that. We blowed on a book that wasnt colored and
with everyone that danced and then we all gave another
blow to make it colored.

Hanno fatto
il salto del leone quando toccava a me e mi avano
chiamato Carotina e Scarabocchio.
They made the Lionsault when
it was my turn anc Carotina and Scarabocchio called
me.
Daiana:
Alla fine
ci hanno regalato gli animali di pallone che si
gonfia e si gira.
At the end they gave us the
animal ballons that get big and twist.
